What's New:
VideoMart is now Inland Sound & Cinema!
What customers are saying:
"I've shopped the big name electronic stores and the big name discount stores, and I've never been able to find the high end audio and video equipment that's available at Inland Sound & Cinema. The personnel there are friendly, knowledgeable and experienced, and they're always happy to answer any questions about their products...never any pressure. They'll even answer questions about your own equipment if you're having problems with it. I've been shopping at Inland Sound (formerly VideoMart) for over 15 years, and I'll keep coming back. Thanks, Dave, for having a store committed to the best products at the best prices."

VideoMart, Inc. was founded in 1978 by David Gusseck, Ph.D., a biochemist, and
Peter Yuen, both of whom were members of the research faculty at the Loma Linda
University School of Medicine. The business arose from a hobby interest in
watching movies displayed by excellent film, video and audio equipment. In the
'70's, Gusseck had a screening room at home with film projectors used to
project 16mm prints. When the first videocassette recorders came out, the
beginning of a major new industry was clear, so Gusseck and Yuen jumped on it
with one of the first video/electronic stores in the country.
In the beginning, VideoMart, Inc. sold and rented everything video -
prerecorded tapes, cameras, VCRs, etc. As the business evolved it moved into
audio products as well, eventually becoming the audio/video/home theater
specialty store it is today.
Phil Perez has been associated with the business for over twenty years and
heads the store's custom installation department. He is not only very
knowledgeable about both audio and video systems, but is a very careful and
meticulous craftsman when it comes to custom work.
Dave Elpers, the store manager, was employed by, and managed, audio/video
stores in Portland, Oregon for 22 years before moving to Southern California.
He is a highly trained and seasoned audiophile with golden ears. Rick McCrary,
the youngest member of the staff, provides sales and other support for the
business, is a fun guy to be around, and lights up a room with his smile (his
ears are a bit more reddish than golden).
